Assessment Testing
The Needles Center provides Assessment Testing on a drop in basis, make-up tests for instructors, and monitored extended testing time for DSPS students.
All students who intend to enroll in courses are required to complete an assessment placement as part of the admission process. Test results, along with other criteria, are used by counseling to determine readiness for specific courses and programs. Remember that taking an assessment test is an important step in your college career and you should take the time to adequately prepare before taking the assessment.
The Needles Center, in conjunction with the Blythe Learning Resource Center has numerous computer assisted learning programs to augment classroom instruction.
