The Emperor's New Clothes
A Musical Comedy in One Act
An adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson story, The Emperor's New Clothes features song styles of the Caribbean, including calypso, conga, and reggae rhythms. There are five leading roles for adults and 15 ensemble roles for both adults and children in grades 7-12. Roles are available for non-singers.
A public information meeting will be held on November 13, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. in the Palo Verde College Student Services Building, Room CS123.
As always, auditions are open to PVC students and staff, high school juniors and seniors, and adult community members. For the first time, PVC is welcoming younger performers to audition. In order to obtain information needed to meet college deadlines, parents and guardians of students in grades 7-10 are strongly encouraged to attend this public meeting with their children.
