Financial Aid Philosophy

The Palo Verde College Financial Aid Office is committed to removing financial barriers and supporting student success through personalized, student-centered service. We believe every student deserves individualized guidance, equitable access to financial resources, and compassionate support as they pursue their educational, career, and personal goals.

To help students achieve those goals while minimizing financial burden, Palo Verde College prioritizes federal and state grant assistance and does not participate in student loan programs. Through responsible stewardship of financial aid resources and a commitment to access, equity, and customer service, we strive to help students complete their educational journey without unnecessary debt.

Important Dates

  • March 2nd: 1st deadline to complete the 26-27 FAFSA for Cal Grant (CSAC) Awards
  • June 30th: 25-26 FAFSA application ends
  • September 2nd: 2nd deadline to complete the 26-27 FAFSA for Cal Grant (CSAC) Awards
  • October 1st: 26-27 FAFSA application goes live
