Mission Statement

Foundation Overview

Palo Verde College Foundation was established in 1985 by fifteen Blythe, California natives with the goal of supporting Palo Verde Community College faculty, staff and students. The Foundation received its 501(c)(3) status in 1986, and has grown to nearly $1.5 million in assets. In 2017, Palo Verde Community College created a Foundation office on its main campus, which serves as the chief fundraising arm for the college and works with an independent Board of Directors, along with the Superintendent/President and Board of Trustees. The Foundation consists of up to 23 members from the local communities of Blythe and Needles, California. The Foundation is completely dependent upon the generosity of the local communities in both Blythe and Needles, PVC Employees, in addition to companies and businesses, which invest in educational endeavors through endowments.

Ways To Give

For nearly four decades, the Palo Verde College Foundation has been helping students create a P.A.T.H. to success by removing financial barriers and expanding educational opportunities. Through the generosity of community supporters, the Foundation provides scholarships, tuition assistance, laptop awards, faculty grants, and funding for programs, facilities, and equipment. Every dollar raised locally stays in our community, enhancing the educational experience for students and supporting a stronger workforce for the future.

Scholarships

The Palo Verde College Foundation is proud to provide scholarship opportunities that help students achieve their educational goals at both the Blythe campus and Needles Educational Center. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation awards thousands of dollars in scholarsihps each year, helping remove financial barriers and create pathways to success. Whether through scholarship support, memorial gifts, or endowments, every contribution makes a meaningful impact on the lives of PVC students and strengthens our community for generations to come.
