Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is the first step in a process that could lead to a highly successful and profitable career. In this program students learn the basics in caring for and assisting patients with performing daily living activities. The CNA is also responsible for collaborating with and assisting the nurses and physicians in providing patient care. The CNA Program is a one semester class with no prerequisites. Our CNA students learn and practice in our skills lab equipped with beds, mannequins, and other materials needed for providing basic care and comfort to patients/clients/residents. CNA students also spend time at an off-site clinical facility in order to gain knowledge and experience about the duties of a CNA.
